A Wet But Wonderful Open Day

We were worried about the weather, and whilst it started out looking favourable, it turned grey and menacing... and we were right to be worried. But we never let a bit of rain dampen our spirits - Baseball must go on!

We had a great turn out of new players, with the support of old players helping the afternoon run smoothly. A huge thank you to the Committee organisers and the league volunteers - we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you.

The new players had a chance to learn some skills, do some drills and play a little but with our experienced players in an exhibition game. With over 30 new players signed to the league, we can all look forward to making many new friends.

Here are some photos from the day! (Thanks, Jane!)

See you all on the diamond next week in our first ever Development Round - where we will be Lacing Up for the Love of Sport! Don't forget to get your Rainbow laces from the BBQ for a Gold Coin donation.
