Please stretch and warm up prior to games. Any injuries or incidents must be reported on the score sheet, in your team’s scorebook and a Committee member must be notified. Also fill out an incident report and cease playing/training. SWBL is insured though Sportscover Australia Pty Ltd, under the umbrella of the Sydney Metropolitan Baseball League (NSW Juniors).

Claims process: If you are injured during a game, you need to fill out an incident report form in the “Big Red Folder” at the BBQ. Then download a claim form from www.nswjuniorbaseball.com.au under library/ insurance/accident claim pack and follow the instructions.
A committee member will also need to complete an Official Report of the incident. You will need a copy of the team lists/score sheets if the injury happens during a game. You must submit your claim within 120 days of the accident. Do not wait until treatment is complete before submitting the claim form. It is the player’s responsibility to follow up an insurance claim and to ensure the appropriate procedure is followed in the required time frame. A Committee member or your team coordinator may be able to assist you in this process and will provide you with the required documentation where available.
